How does thermal technology measure gas flow? The calorimetric principle determines flow using heat transfer, while the BY-200-V employs a MEMS sensor for direct mass measurement. Designed for dry gas service, the instrument can measure compressed air, nitrogen, argon, PNG, and LPG. It has no moving parts and supports 4–20 mA and RS485 Modbus outputs. The screwed version is available for DN4 to DN50 piping and can display flow and totalizer values for process monitoring.
