Why this programme?
A port environment is a catalyst for sustainable growth, not only for the respective port platform but also for the wider regional/national economy, adding to the wealth and well-being of the region/country it serves.
Obviously, the maritime services and operational activities carried out by the port community are crucial for the efficient and safe operation of this important link in the supply chain.
This course will interactively teach you the ins and outs of operational and maritime services.
What?
This training programme covers all the important aspects of Port and Marine services, such as:
– Regulations: IMO, SOLAS, VTS, etc.
– Nautical chain: chain management, legal aspects, traffic control, etc.
– Port services: the process of arrival, mooring and unmooring, pilotage, and towage.
– Environmental services: air emissions, emissions to the general surroundings.
– Bunkering and oil spill response: regulatory framework, market and evolutions, oil spill response.
– Maritime business development: containers, dry bulk and wet bulk – liquid cargo
For whom?
This programme is directed towards the technical staff within a port authority/company, nautical profiles, marine engineers and port employees who are involved in operational matters within a port on a daily basis.
Course fee: Rs 100,000+GST
The course fee covers course material, airport pick-up/drop-off, accommodation
( 5 nights in a twin sharing room) and all meals and beverages, single room Rs 20 000 additonal
Please note that the registration fee must be received by JNPT-APEC in full; meaning all national and international taxes, bank costs etc. need to be covered by the participant.
Kindly take this into account when completing the transfer, as a deficit in the amount received by JNPT-APEC will mean admission to the course will be denied.
